On the shores of Lake Como... by Segway PT!

The tour starts along the shores of Como Lake, one of the most beautiful places in the world, and continues trough the charming streets of the historical centre of the town. Many artists, poets and musicians who lived here were inspired by the breathtaking beauty of the scenery and described it in their famous works.

The itinerary begins at Villa Olmo from where we take the path which is both for pedestrian and bicycles. From this romantic promenade it is possible to admire the elegant neoclassical villas built on the western shore of the first dock, between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries by the aristocratic families of Como. Then we go past the recreative area of the public gardens from where you enjoy the panoramic view of the whole city.

We reach the heart of touristic and commercial life: the wonderful historical centre surrounded by old medieval walls, with its busy streets, coffee bars and typical restaurants, that you can find in decored and refined buildings.

At this point we take the walk alongside the lake to go back to Villa Olmo, the meeting place, enjoying once more the delightful atmosphere that only this unique landscape could evoke.
